Site of PAVE Academy as listed on your website

Dear Charter Schools Institute Board/Staff Members:

I just looked at your website, and noticed that the PAVE Academy's address has been listed as 71 Sullivan Street. This is the address of PS15, a "traditional" public school in Red Hook, Brooklyn, and according to the our local Department of Education spokespeople here in NYC, the issue of the siting has NOT been decided yet. I'm puzzled about this; why would this information be listed on a state site when our local DOE has given us other information? Which information is accurate?

I'm a parent of a student who attends PS15, and there are quite a few members of the community who are opposed to co-siting the charter school in PS15. We've been having difficulty getting clear, timely information from the DOE regarding this issue, and we're very concerned about this.

I would appreciate a response regarding this.

Sincerely,

Emily Brown
